Cancellation & Refund

Registration is binding. After your spot at Baltic Hop has been confirmed, cancellation is generally not possible anymore.

If you cannot participate yourself, finding a substitute for participation in the festival on your own, is a valid option. If a substitute is found, please inform the organisers by e-mail to info@baltic-hop.com, so that the list of participants can be updated. If this doesn't happen, access might be denied to the substitute. The financial side should be dealt with between the participant and their substitute. The organisers do not get involved.

We cannot reimburse costs for accommodation, transport and other expenses in connection with your planned visit to Baltic Hop.

Group Allocation

The organisers and festival teachers retain the right to modify a participant's assigned group during the festival if deemed necessary. Participants agree to comply with any such group changes or audition requirements determined by the organisers or festival supervisors.

Payment

After your spot at Baltic Hop has been confirmed, you will receive payment information via email. The registration fee has to be paid in full within 14 days after the payment information has been sent. In case of overdue payments, a payment reminder fee of 5 € per reminder may be applied. If payment is not received within the specified payment deadline, we reserve the right to deny entrance.

Schedule and Content Changes

Unfortunate and surprising changes regarding schedule, teachers, and other contents of the event may occur and are informed about mainly on the event's website, social media and via email.

Liability Waiver

By participating at Baltic Hop, attendees acknowledge and accept the inherent risks associated with dancing and attending events of this nature. Attendees hereby release and hold harmless the organisers, their agents, employees, volunteers, and affiliates from any and all liability, claims, damages, injuries, or losses arising from participation in the festival, including but not limited to accidents, injuries, thefts or damages that occur during the festival.

Attendees agree to assume full responsibility for any risks, injuries, or damages that may occur as a result of their participation in festival activities.

General Guidelines

Dancing is a physically demanding pursuit, and as such, comes with inherent risks. It is your own responsibility to ensure proper personal insurance coverage while participating in our activities.

If you feel sick or unwell, do not participate in the event. Wash or disinfect your hands regularly, especially before attending a dance class or party.

Take care of personal hygiene. It is asked to refrain from dancing when intoxicated or under the influence of other drugs that negatively affect judgement or physical abilities. Participation in the event is at your own risk and entirely your own responsibility.

Photography & Videography

The event will be documented – photographs and videos will be taken. By taking part in the event, you grant the organisers full rights to use the resulting images and videos, any reproductions or adaptations of the images and videos for marketing, publicity or other purposes. This might include (but is not limited to), the right to use them in printed and online publicity, social media, press releases and advertisements.

Taking photos or videos during classes requires the explicit consent of the dance teachers. Publishing photos and video recordings from the classes is not permitted unless explicitly allowed by the organisers of the festival.

By participating in the festival, participants agree to the use and publication of photos and video recordings of the festival, which may show the respective participants.

If you do not wish to be photographed, please inform the organisers.

Code of Conduct

Any sort of disturbing behaviour and harassment is forbidden in and during the event. If the participant causes damage to the property of the venues, they will be held responsible to pay the damages caused. We reserve the right to deny participation if any disturbing behaviour is observed or rules mentioned above are broken.
